COLORADO/UTAH  -  DAY 19  -  OCTOBER 9TH

Today we left Colorado.  This is a state we'll add to our States Visited Map, as soon as we find it.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Colorado, well, except for the smoking brakes part.

Before we knew it, we were back in Utah!  I almost missed the sign!

We had an uneventful drive through the Utah and stayed in a "campground" we found listed on the Internet.  Probably one we should have checked reviews on but we made it through the night.  (Note to self:  check campground reviews)

Now, of course, there were going down the road pics.  For those of you live "out west" or have been in this area a long time, this is probably old hat to you but we are just facinated with the huge rocks/mountains.  After all, we come from Delaware whose highest point in the entire state is 448 feet above sea level.

We did keep noticing that the overhead highway signs kept saying Solar eclipse - plan your travels.  We saw this again and again and just didn't get it,,,,until someone on the radio talked about the solar eclipse coming Saturday and it seems that being in Utah is THE place to see it.  Though we won't be in Utah then perhaps we can see it anyway.
